My Grandmother was about 3-4 years old then around 1923-1924. She spoke of them living in train cars. I have searched for information and haven't found anything solid. I can't wait to show it to my father-in-law and ask if he can tell. I'm sure he will enjoy seeing the book and hopefully it will lead to more information as he comments on it. Martindale owned ...Betty, My great-grandfather A.B. Martindale owned and operated sawmills in East Texas. For a time he also worked at mills in Missouri and Louisiana.
